John + Tamara: Married

“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.” ― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh John and Tamara’s wedding was the biggest I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting. Some stats – 180 guests, 4 bridesmaids, 4 groomsmen, a trio…

  • Brilliant, Katie! Love the shot of John and Tamara on the church balcony (and also the very last image)!ReplyCancel

  • Everything about this wedding is amazing… from the house, to the church, to the beautiful bride and handsome groom… to these ridiculously amazing images… *sigh*ReplyCancel

  • what a stunning wedding Katie, and you have captured every moment so beautifully! gorgeous!!ReplyCancel

  • Oh my goodness Katie, where do I begin? I’m not ashamed to say that the shot of the bride with her parents in the window seat actually made me tear up. The image of her back in the hallway at the front door? Stunning, a total magazine shot. The groom’s group getting ready would have to be the most poignant groom-geting-ready-group of images I have yet to see.

Katie quite honestly, these beautiful images are such art. The lucky couple are blessed with true love, amazing families, great fun and perfect memories courtesy of you.ReplyCancel

100 Days of Summer

Half way – already! Inspired by a few other photographers, I decided to take part in this project – documenting something small from each of our days for one hundred days. And yes, I know summer is only ninety days long, but in Queensland, it really does go on for longer than the calendar indicates….

  • Fantastic, I have loved looking through your “100 days of summer” so far. I love the capture of everyday life, all those little things, the little looks you get – all so special to remember!ReplyCancel

  • This is such a wonderful personal project what a wonderful thing to look back on in years to comeReplyCancel

  • What a wonderful idea, you and the family are going to love looking back over these!ReplyCancel

  • Totally tops! I’m coming to live at your place next summer! I think I’m in love with your photo from the 12th of January, a complete crack-up.ReplyCancel
