When Rachel first contacted me and asked me to be her wedding photographer, I’m pretty sure my first words were, ‘Really? Are you sure?!’  In the lead up to the wedding, I swung wildly between super chuffed and absolute panic. Not my usual reaction when a bride contacts me, I promise. This was all because Rachel is a very talented photographer, and I’m pretty sure there is nothing more flattering than being asked to shoot another photographer’s wedding, with as it turns out, many talented photographer guests also.

Of course, I needn’t have worried about any of that – there was no sign of Rachel the photographer on the big day, she settled very easily into her role of bride. And what an amazing bride she was – cool, calm, collected and absolutely stunning. The whole day was filled with the most beautiful little personal touches and was more than a wedding, it was a great big family focused party. The kids were so involved in everything, it made my heart sing. Rachel and Nigel shared little jokes and laughs throughout the ceremony and afterwards, their love is so plain to see. They are perfect for each other and I am so glad they chose me.
